Boys’ soccer: Cate’s Ema Boateng is Gatorade state player of the year

Ema Boateng, a midfielder who led Cate to a 20-2-1 record and scored 32 goals this past year, has been selected the Gatorade state player of the year in boys’ soccer.
He’s headed to UC Santa Barbara this fall.
