Boys’ basketball: Max Guercy commits to Rice

Point guard Max Guercy of Mission Hills Alemany has committed to Rice. Guercy helped Alemany win the state Division III championship.

He started the season with no scholarship offers and ended it as one of the top guards in Southern California.
