Baseball: Sierra Canyon clinches first league title
Rick Weber didn't like it when Van Nuys Montclair Prep dropped its sports program but he got a job as the baseball coach at Chatsworth Sierra Canyon, and what a season for the Trailblazers.
They clinched their first league title in baseball on Thursday with a 17-1 win over Kilpatrick, winning the Delphic League. Sierra Canyon is 7-1 in league and 19-4 overall.
Josh Bobrosky had three hits and three RBIs. Brian Tucker added four RBIs.
