Baseball: North Hollywood advances to City Section Division II final

North Hollywood earned its second consecutive trip to Dodger Stadium on Thursday by winnings its City Section Division II semifinal game over University, 6-3, at Birmingham.

The Huskies broke a 2-2 tie with a three-run sixth inning. Jason Ruiz hit a two-run double and Marvin Galvez followed with an RBI single.

Andrew Marmor allowed four hits and two runs in six innings.

The Huskies will play top-seeded South Gate in Saturday's 10 a.m. final at Dodger Stadium. South Gate defeated Maywood, 8-0. Daniel Ortiz threw a four-hitter.
