Baseball: Jason Karkenny gets Chatsworth out of jam

May 30, 2012 |  5:24 pm

With the bases loaded and none out in the top of the sixth inning, Chatsworth Coach Tom Meusborn summoned Jason Karkenny from the bullpen to try and get the Chancellors out of a jam against San Fernando.

Karkenny, expected to be the starting pitcher on Saturday at Dodger Stadium if Chatsworth wins, gave up a sacrifice fly, then got a double play grounder. San Fernando had to settle for one run and trails the Chancellors, 2-1, in the City Section Division I semifinal at USC.
