Baseball: It's a Roosevelt-Garfield showdown

May 3, 2012 |  8:27 am

Alumni love attending sporting events involving Roosevelt and Garfield, so Thursday night's 6 p.m. Eastern League battle for first place in baseball between the Rough Riders and Bulldogs at Los Angles Roybal should bring out plenty of fans.

Roosevelt is 16-10 and 8-1. Garfield is 16-8 and 8-2.

These same two schools attract more than 20,000 fans for their annual football game.
