Baseball: Crescenta Valley wins Pacific League title

Kyle Murray threw a complete game, striking out nine while allowing two hits to lift Crescenta Valley past Arcadia, 7-0, in the Pacific League championship game at Stengel Field.

Crescenta Valley is 19-8 overall and 12-2 in league.

Jose Pereyra struck out nine in Burroughs’ 2-0 victory over Burbank. Pasadena defeated Muir, 4-0. Glendale defeated Hoover, 4-3.

In the Citrus Belt League, Yucaipa earned a share of the championship after beating Redlands East Valley, 7-0, behind Tyler Sapp, who struck out 10 and allowed four hits.
