Football: Redondo selects Half Moon Bay coach

After an exhaustive search, Redondo has selected Matt Ballard from Half Moon Bay in San Mateo County to be its new football coach.
He has been the school’s football coach for 10 years and also served as athletic director.
‘It’s been quite a process,’ Ballard said. ‘I feel like I’m taking on a very important responsibility.’
Redondo has some of the best facilities in the South Bay. Ballard met with the team on Monday and will return in June to take on building the program full time.
