Boys' basketball: Tim O'Brien is returning as coach at Northwood

Irvine Northwood has named former coach Tim O'Brien as its head coach, according to OCVarsity.com. O'Brien started the program in 2000 and last coached in 2006.

La Verne Lutheran's associate head coach, Brandon Lee, has agreed to take over the program after the resignation of Eric Cooper, who accepted the position of head coach at Long Beach St. Anthony.
