Basketball: Battle of the Valley is Saturday

The Battle of the Valley boys' and girls' all-star games will take place Saturday at Pierce College, with the boys' game at 7:30 p.m. and the girls' game at 5:30 p.m.

Nevada-bound guard Marqueze Coleman of state champion Mission HIlls Alemany is the featured player in the boys' game.

UCLA-bound Lauren Holiday from North Hollywood Campbell Hall is the player to watch in the girls' game. She's the sister of NBA guard Jrue Holiday.
