Baseball: Mater Dei takes 1-0 lead over Orange Lutheran

An RBI single in the sixth inning by Jeremy Martinez drove in Ty Moore from first base to give Mater Dei a 1-0 lead over Orange Lutheran in a battle between No. 1 and No. 2 at Hart Park.

Moore had reached base on an error by pitcher Art Vidrio and ended up on second on the wild throw to first. He moved to third on another error, an errant pickoff attempt.

Moore has shut out the Lancers for five innings.
