Baseball: Long Beach Poly's Chris Castellanos throws perfect game

Junior pitcher Chris Catellanos of Long Beach Poly threw a perfect game on Tuesday night, retiring all 21 batters, in the Jackrabbits' 1-0 Moore League victory over Long Beach Wilson.

Chase DeJong was once again a tough-luck loser despite striking out 12. He lost earlier this season to Shane Watson and Lakewood, 1-0.

It was the third consecutive game in which Wilson has lost by a score of 1-0. El Modena and Santa Margarita also beat the Bruins.

Jeff Turley drove in the game's only run. Poly (17-3, 5-1) took over second place in league play.
