Baseball: Another win, another shutout for Luke Eubank

Six starts and four shutouts for Luke Eubank of Newbury Park. Let’s just say he has been unbeatable this season for the Panthers. He improved to 6-0 on Wednesday, throwing a one-hitter in a 3-0 Marmonte League victory over Thousand Oaks.
He struck out four and walked one. Colton Walter drove in two runs during a three-run second for the Panthers (11-2-1, 6-1).
Agoura pulled out a 4-3 win over Calabasas on Albee Weiss’ game-winning hit in the seventh. Freshman Bryce Fehmel hit a three-run home run. Agoura is 11-2-1 and 7-0 in the Marmonte. Simi Valley defeated Royal, 6-5. Ezra Lupoli had three hits. Jordan Guerrero struck out nine in five innings in Moorpark’s 3-1 win over Westlake.
Orange Lutheran stayed unbeaten in the Trinity League with a 2-1 win over Santa Margarita. Art Moran-Vidrio struck out eight.
In the Tri-Valley League, Oaks Christian defeated Grace Brethren, 6-0. Spencer Vogelbach threw six shutout innings. Tyson Quolas had a two-run triple. Cody Phillips and Harrison Hoff had two hits apiece.
In the Foothill League, Hart defeated Canyon Country Canyon, 2-0. Jesse Posey and Rickey Torres combined on the shutout. CJ Witkowski and Weston Fitzpatrick had two hits apiece. Brian Mundell broke a 3-3 tie with a two-run double in the top of the seventh to lift Valencia past West Ranch, 5-3. Chris Giminez threw 5 2/3 innings of scoreless ball. Tyler Woldanski had three hits for West Ranch.
Justin Donatella threw a complete game in Saugus’ 7-1 win over Golden Valley.
In the Sunset League, Los Alamitos knocked off Huntington Beach, 2-0.
Esperanza defeated Brea, 6-1. Nick Catalano had a two-run home run and Scott Mason threw a complete game. El Toro scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Capistrano Valley, 4-3. Ayala defeated Charter Oak, 6-5.
