Steven Gallardo, a former Hamilton High pitcher, threw a 10-inning no-hitter on Friday for Long Beach City College in a 1-0 victory over Compton College.
Gallardo, a sophomore, struck out 17, walked one and hit a batter. The Vikings scored their winning run in the bottom of the 10th.
Gallardo was the 2011 South Coast Conference pitcher of the year.
