Girls’ basketball: Windward duo missed game for disciplinary reasons

Los Angeles Windward played its Division IV Southern California Regional semifinal girls’ basketball game Tuesday without starters Imani Stafford and Kristen Simon. Both were held out because of a disciplinary matter, school spokesman Stephen Johnson said Wednesday.
That conflicts with what Simon told a reporter on Tuesday. She said she and Stafford were sick.
