Santa Ana Mater Dei has maintained control from the outset and leads Long Beach Poly, 27-18, at halftime of the Division I Southern California Regional girls’ final.

Nirra Fields made a basket at the end of the second quarter to keep the Monarchs comfortably ahead. Fields has 12 points.
