Girls' basketball: Mitty has 22-19 halftime lead

Riverside North isn't backing down one bit from San Jose Mitty in the Division II state championship game for girls' basketball.

Mitty holds a 22-19 halftime lead. Mitty has had chances to pull away but failed to do so. That's encouraging for North.

Update: Akilah Martin in a pair of three-pointers in the third quarter to lead North, which trails Mitty, 36-34, after three quarters.
