_3106869Woodland Hills Taft leads Fresno Bullard, 31-22, at halftime in a CIF Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinal game.

The third-seeded Toreadors fell behind 6-1 in the first two minutes and didn't take their first lead until Anthony January's putback with 3:28 left in the first quarter.

After not attempting a free throw in the entire first half of Wednesday's 84-54 first-round victory over Clovis West, Taft is four of 11 from the foul line tonight.

January has 11 points and Kris Yanku has six for the Toreadors, winners of two straight L.A. City Section titles. January, Steven Jones and Jayvon Gentle all have two fouls.

Corey Silverstrom has eight points to lead the sixth-seeded Knights, who were outscored 14-7 in the second quarter. Bullard, which has captured back-to-back Central Section titles, knocked off  Westchester, 68-53, in the first round.
