Third-seeded Los Angeles Price upset top-seeded Gardena Serra, 73-66, in their Southern California Regional final on Saturday at Ontario Colony High.

Price, which led by as many as 14 points, saw their lead diminish to three points in the fourth quarter at 64-61 with just under four minutes remaining after Daddy Ugbede made a jumper.

But Price immediately took care of business on the other end -- Skylar Spencer made a dunk and Trey Dickerson converted a layup on consecutive possessions.

Garden Serra was never able to complete a comeback.

The Knights were led by Khalil Johnson, who had 26 points and 10 rebounds. Spencer had 15 points and JaQuan Green added 14 points.

Dakarai Tucker had 19 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers. Kajon Mack and Ugbede each added 18 points.

With the win, Price improved to 26-8. The Knights, who won a state championship in 2010, will compete for another title in Sacramento on Friday at 1:30 p.m. against Richmond Salesian.

Gardena Serra finished its season with a record of 31-3.
