Boys’ basketball: Katin Reinhardt, Xavier Johnson are co-MVPs

The co-most valuable players from the Trinity League are the Santa Ana Mater Dei duo of Katin Reinhardt and Xavier Johnson, who led the Monarchs to the Southern Section Division 1AA championship on Saturday night.

First-team all-league selections include Eli Stalzer, Stanley Johnson and Jordan Strawberry of Mater Dei, Isaac and Daniel Hamilton of St. John Bosco, Gabe York of Orange Lutheran, Jamal Aytes of JSerra, Wolfie Wood of Santa Margarita and Tre Hunter of Servite.
