Girls’ basketball: Corona Santiago is 27-0

Santa Ana Mater Dei and Long Beach Poly are considered the favorites in Southern Section Division 1AA girls’ basketball, but don’t forget about Corona Santiago, which is 27-0 after a 68-35 victory over Corona Roosevelt.

The team finished 14-0 in the Big VIII League and has a 67-game league win streak.
