It’s very difficult to go into Chaminade High School and beat the Eagles in front of their vocal, energetic, relentless student section. That’s what Oaks Christian did Friday night, pulling out a 63-57 victory in a Southern Section 4AA second-round game.

Michael Roletti and Jason Ghilarducci each scored 18 points for the Lions (21-5), who will host the winner of Saturday’s Big Bear-La Verne Lutheran game in Tuesday’s quarterfinals. Jack Williams scored 23 points and Jaron Martin 18 for Chaminade (18-10), which suffered from Oaks Christian spurts of 16-0 and 11-0 during the game.
