Boys’ basketball: It’s road-trip time for Chaminade

West Hills Chaminade was scheduled to leave around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday for its opening-round Southern Section 4AA playoff game against host Morro Bay.

Don’t feel sorry for the Eagles that the bus trip will take nearly four hours. They have a luxury bus that has a bathroom and plasma TVs. Chaminade was planning on showing ‘Coach Carter.’

The team will stop at Santa Maria St. Joseph to do some shooting before the game. Then it’s on to an Italian restaurant for early dinner.
