At halftime of a Nike Extravaganza game on Saturday at Mater Dei, they rolled out a piano on the court, and Monarchs point guard Eli Stalzer gave a mini-concert with his coach, Gary McKnight, looking on.

As a basketball player, he can be counted on to deliver in the clutch. He plays his role perfectly, letting others take the spotlight but always being ready to come through when needed.

And if any coaches or players need someone to play piano at a wedding, Stalzer’s the man.
