Boys’ basketball: Community service time for Harvard-Westlake

Basketball players from Studio City Harvard-Westlake will be busy Saturday morning participating in Councilman Eric Garcetti’s community walk and clean up in Silver Lake.

Garcetti is a Harvard-Westlake graduate. The players are meeting at the Silver Lake library, then will be deployed around the community.

The Wolverines will need lots of rest this weekend, because they get to face top-seeded Gardena Serra on Tuesday in a Southern Section Division 4AA quarterfinal playoff game.
