Bill Bedgood, the basketball coach at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame for seven years, has resigned effective the end of the season, Athletic Director Kevin Rooney said.

The Knights went 9-18 and 0-12 in the Mission League this season. Bedgood will remain a teacher at the school. He said he resigned for family reasons. The Knights will seek an at-large playoff berth.
