Boys’ basketball: Alemany makes nine three-pointers, tops Crespi

After losing twice to Encino Crespi this season, Mission Hills Alemany made sure on Wednesday that the Celts would not get a third victory. Marqueze Coleman scored 27 points and Brandon Boyd added 15 points in a 78-60 Mission League victory.

Alemany (21-3, 9-1) made nine three-pointers on the night. London Perrantes led Crespi with 24 points. Alemany plays Price on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. at Alemany.

Loyola defeated Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 67-53. Jacob Hazzard scored 13 points. Harvard-Westlake held off Chaminade, 49-45. Zena Edosomwan scored 15 pooints. Jaron Martin had 17 points for Chaminade.

In the Trinity League, St. John Bosco defeated Servite, 62-54. Isaac Hamilton scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds and Darryl Matthews added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Tre Hunter led Servite with 20 points. Mater Dei defeated Orange Lutheran, 90-65. Katin Reinhardt scored 25 points, Xavier Johnson 23 points and 13 rebounds and Stanley Johnson had 21 points and 12 rebounds.

La Verne Lutheran defeated Renaissance, 54-45. McKay Anderson finished with 17 points and Cameron Osorno had 14 points. Lutheran is 18-5.

In the Tri-Valley League, St. Bonaventure upset Oaks Park, 60-57. Patrick Kenney scored 21 points and Zack Winter 18.

Marcus LoVett Jr. had 32 points and Patrick Gonzalez 29 in Providence’s 92-33 win over Glendale Adventist.

Santa Monica defeated Culver City, 69-62. Spencer Cramer scored 17 points.

Dominguez defeated Warren, 48-45. EJ Johnson made a three-pointer with one second left. Henry Dodson had 10 points for Dominguez.

Cantwell-Sacred Heart received 43 points from Jose Estrada in a 73-50 win over Bosco Tech.
