Boys' basketball: A 50-point performance by Jose Estrada

Junior Jose Estrada of Montebello Cantwell-Sacred Heart is putting on an offensive show in the Southern Section Division 4A playoffs.

He scored 50 points in three quarters on Friday night in an 82-62 semifinal victory over Ontario Christian. That comes after he had playoff performances of 31, 27 and 49 points.

He's averaging 31 points a game and will face Pacific Hills in next week's final.
