Baseball: Remembering where they came from

It's not every day that two major leaguers show up at their alma mater, sign autographs, banter with former players and just act like normal individuals. That was the case with Mike Moustakas and Matt Dominguez, graduates of Chatsworth High in 2007 who returned on Saturday to have their uniforms retired during the alumni game.

Coach Tom Meusborn, who helped mold them, got to pitch batting practice and maybe he should be signed by a major-league team because Moustakas and Dominguez both struggled to connect on his change-up.

Justin Cassel, Jason Dominguez and many other ex-Chancellor standouts dropped by. Chatsworth has won eight City Section championships under Meusborn, and you can see why by the loyalty and dedication of the ex-players.
