Harvard-Westlake and Alemany are scheduled to open Mission League play on Tuesday, but they are also in the semifinals of the Easton tournament. However, if both win on Thursday, they will not play in the championship game on Saturday.

Alemany Coach Randy Thompson said both teams have agreed to play Foothill League rivals on Saturday. Thursday’s schedule has Alemany playing at Valencia and Harvard-Westlake at West Ranch. Regardless what happens in Thursday’s games, Harvard-Westlake will play Valencia and Alemany will play West Ranch on Saturday to avoid a Harvard-Westlake vs. Alemany game before league play begins.
