Championship play in the Easton tournament is set for Tuesday, with four big matchups.

Newbury Park (2-0) will play at Alemany (2-0), Chaminade (2-0) at Valencia (2-0), Loyola (2-0) at West Ranch (2-0) and El Camino Real (2-0) at Harvard-Westlake (2-0).

The El Camino Real-Harvard-Westlake game will be interesting for Harvard-Westlake Coach Matt LaCour, because he used to coach at El Camino Real.

The Tuesday games will test the pitching staffs of the teams, because their No. 1 and No. 2 pitchers won’t be available. Harvard-Westlake is expected to use sophomore Jack Flaherty on the mound. Chaminade has several young, promising pitchers available.
