The luxuries of working for a private school

It never ceases to amaze me, the perks that come with working for a private school.

Studio City Harvard-Westlake has purchased two Chevy Volts that are available for use by faculty, administrators and coaches.

They were chosen because of their low environmental impact, according to a story in the school newspaper.

Harvard-Westlake has two campuses, with the middle school in Los Angeles, so the cars can be used for commuting or going to athletic events, among other uses.

We'll see how often baseball Coach Matt LaCour uses the Volt to commute to O'Malley Field in Encino.
