Girls’ cross country: Simi’s Sarah Baxter is Gatorade state runner of year

Sophomore Sarah Baxter from Simi Valley has been named the Gatorade state runner of the year in girls’ cross country.
It makes Baxter a finalist for the national runner of the year.
She won the Nike cross country national championship this past season with a time of 17:38 and was unbeaten this season.
