Girls' basketball: Aysia Shellmire scores 45 points for Burbank Burroughs
A notable individual performance in girls' basketball was turned in earlier this week by 6-foot-1 junior Aysia Shellmire of Burbank Burroughs.
She scored 45 points, making 19 of 32 shots, in a 71-20 Pacific League victory over Glendale Hoover on Tuesday.
