Football: Servite schedules games against Bishop Amat, St. Paul

Anaheim Servite has announced its football schedule for 2012, though the Friars are still waiting to confirm a game against Sacramento Grant for Sept. 1 that would be played at Crespi as part of a two-day showcase.

The Friars are scheduled to open the season on Aug. 24 at Bishop Amat. If the Grant game is finalized, they’ll have a bye on Sept. 7, followed by home games against Huntington Beach Edison and Las Vegas Bishop Gorman on Sept. 14 and Sept. 21. They will be at St. Paul on Sept. 28 and open Trinity League play at Santa Margarita on Oct. 5.

There’s also games at Orange Lutheran on Oct. 12, at JSerra on Oct. 19 and home games against St. John Bosco on Oct. 26 and Santa Ana Mater Dei on Nov. 2.
