Football: A quarterback from Florida could be headed to SoCal

January 14, 2012 |  8:13 am

Don't be surprised if a high school in Southern California lands the top returning quarterback in Florida.

The buzz is growing that Luke Del Rio, the son of former Jacksonville Jaguars Coach Jack Del Rio, could be headed to Southern California. He would be a senior.

Of course, it all comes down to where his father ends up.

The father was in town on Friday looking at high schools in case a move is made, and Ventura St. Bonaventure was one of the stops.
