Standout sophomore guard Shaqquan Aaron of Woodland Hills Taft has lost his CIF appeal and will be ineligible this season at the varsity level, according to the City Section office.

Aaron transferred from Santa Ana Mater Dei.

The decision provides a little more clarity to the City Section season. Taft picked up Anthony January from Compton, and Fairfax will be adding Brendyn Taylor on Wednesday when he becomes eligible.
