Boys’ basketball: Price continues its winning ways

Los Angeles Price has been very productive in January, and the Knights continued their winning ways on Saturday with a 75-70 victory over Leuzinger.

JaQuan Green and Trey Dickerson each scored 19 points in a game of the Cavalier Classic at Gardena Serra. Chance Murray added 15 points.

Daddy Ugbede had 21 points in Serra’s 81-59 win over San Diego Hoover.

Other Cavalier Classic scores: Locke 69, Salesian 67 in overtime; Fremont 55, Hawthorne 44; Renaissance 65, Cantwell-Sacred Heart 42.

In New Orleans, St. John Bosco won for the first time in three days, beating Louisiana Salmen, 66-59. Isaac Hamilton had 28 points and Daniel Hamilton had 26 points. The Braves return to the Southland to resume Trinity League play this week, including a showdown game on Friday against Mater Dei.
