Boys' basketball: La Canada had better be in shape

La Canada Coach Tom Hofman believes in honoring a commitment, so that's why his team will be playing two games  Saturday in two different events.

At 10:30 a.m., La Canada will face Oceanside El Camino in the Fairfax State Preview Classic.

At 9 p.m., La Canada will play Maranatha in the Southern California Shootout at Azusa Pacific.

And Friday night, the team plays Blair in a Rio Hondo League game.

Three games in 26 hours. I hope Hofman's voice holds out.
