Gardena Serra improved to 15-1 overall and 2-0 in the Del Rey League by avenging its only defeat with a 51-47 victory over Torrance Bishop Montgomery.

Daddy Ugbede scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds.

Serra lost to Bishop Montgomery, 54-44, in the Westchester tournament on Dec. 10.

Serra will face Los Angeles Price in a one-day tournament on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at LACES.
