Boys' basketball: Gabe York is sidelined by appendectomy

Standout guard Gabe York of Orange Lutheran will be sidelined for several weeks after undergoing an appendectomy on New Year's eve, Coach Chris Nordstrom said.

York is out of the hospital and recovering. He's doubtful to play next week against Santa Ana Mater Dei in a Trinity League game.
