Boys' basketball: Devin Burleson is expected to enroll at St. John Bosco

Devin Burleson, a 6-foot-8 sophomore with lots of potential, has begun the process of trying to enroll at Bellflower St. John Bosco. If the school accepts him, he would become eligible on Jan. 21 because he hasn't played for a year.

Burleson was attending Clark High in Las Vegas. Last year, he was at Pacific Hills, briefly attended Chatsworth Sierra Canyon and played for Los Angeles Price in the summer. He used to play with sophomore guard Namon Wright, who attends Pacific Hills and will be eligible later this month.
