January 26, 2012 |  8:53 pm

One of the hottest teams in Southern California is Los Angeles Price (16-5), which beat Renaissance, 68-54, on Thursday. Renaissance came in with a 17-2 record.

Price has recent wins over Gardena Serra and Palm Springs and has games ahead against Windward, Washington, Alemany, Compton and La Verne Lutheran. Talk about challenging schedules.

Skylar Spencer had 16 points Thursday for Price, which faces Windward on Saturday at Fairfax.

La Verne Lutheran improved to 16-4 after a 100-24 win over Hope Centre. Eric Cooper had 28 points and Cameron Osorno had 27 points.

Burbank Providence (19-4, 6-0) defeated Holy Martyrs, 62-54, in a Liberty League game. Marcus LoVett Jr. had 23 points and Patrick Gonzalez 21.
