Basketball: Tournament on Monday to honor Tony Matson

Orange Lutheran will host a one-day tournament on Monday to honor former girls’ coach Tony Matson, who died in 2009 at the age of 44.
The lone boys’ game at 8 p.m. is a good one: Orange Lutheran vs. La Verne Lutheran.
And the girls’ games are pretty good, too: 12:30 p.m., Rosary vs. Mayfair; 2 p.m., Yorba Linda vs. Santa Margarita; 3:30 p.m., Troy vs. Brea Olinda; 5 p.m., Mater Dei vs. Anaheim Canyon; 6:30 p.m., Orange Lutheran vs. Santa Monica.
