Girls' basketball: L.A. Windward beats another ranked team
Los Angeles Windward advanced to the semifinals of its division of the Nike Tournament of Champions in Arizona with a 53-37 victory over nationally ranked Marion County of Kentucky.
Windward (8-1) is set to face the No. 1-ranked team in the nation in Riverdale Baptist of Maryland.
