Football: Sierra Canyon wins East Valley championship

Chatsworth Sierra Canyon improved to 14-0 and won the East Valley Division championship with a 47-14 victory over Lancaster Paraclete at Antelope Valley College.

Sierra Canyon is expected to be selected for a CIF state championship bowl game.

Xavier Minnifield had five touchdowns for Sierra Canyon. Danny Jordan rushed for 147 yards in 10 carries.
