Football: Sierra Canyon wins Division IV state bowl

Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth has defeated Le Grand 34-13 in the Division IV game of the CIF State Football Bowl Championships at The Home Depot Center in Carson.

The Trailblazers (15-0) scored 21 unanswered points in the second half against a team that came into the contest averaging 58.5 points per game. Xavier Menifield rushed for three touchdowns.
