Boys’ basketball: Muir wins La Canada tournament

Pasadena Muir defeated Saugus, 59-52, in the championship game of the La Canada tournament. Jelani Mitchell was the tournament MVP after scoring 26 points.

Orange Lutheran improved to 6-0 with a 50-45 victory over Rowan County, ranked No. 5 in Kentucky, in a first-round game of the King of the Bluegrass tournament. Gabe York had 14 points and Darien Williams 13 points.
