Longtime Santa Ana Mater Dei Coach Gary McKnight, the winningest coach in California history, picked up his 900th career victory on Wednesday when the Monarchs defeated Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, 79-69, for fifth place in the City of Palms Classic in Florida.

Katin Reinhardt had 23 points, Eli Stalzer 15 and Stanley Johnson 14.
