An East Coast trip for Los Angeles Loyola (11-0) worked out well for the Cubs, who won the championship of the National Jesuit Christmas Classic with a 66-53 victory over Georgetown Prep on Friday in Maryland.

Julian Harrell was named tournament MVP after scoring 17 points. Justin Childress and Parker Cartwright added 13 points apiece.

Loyola will return to prepare for Mission League play next week that includes road games against Crespi on Wednesday and Alemany on Friday.
